Negative Spaces

Negative spaces are the spaces between or around the object. It is similar to drawing the background only, showing the white space of the object. For example, Mr. Patrick runs through the door really fast, and there is a human shaped space in the door. Sometimes, the negative spaces picture can be confusing, because it might show more than one picture, such as a vase could form a picture of two human faces. See the picture for examples.
